Voyage Hotel, London
The Project
A converted Georgian townhouse, The Voyage Hotel offers guests budget accommodation in Central London. The smaller rooms required space saving design and bespoke measurements for a sophisticated finish that provided guests with all the expected amenities. As a converted townhouse, each room was different, and needed an individual, bespoke furniture package that would suit the space.
The Design
Each individual room was designed using leading technology that allowed business owners to view a realistic 3D render before installation. Each room was fitted with a bed and custom headboard, with a dark wooden veneer finish that suited the historical character of the building. Multi-functional integrated bedside tables also served as desks and dressing tables. Wardrobe spaces were designed to incorporate desks, fridges and hospitality trays. With space a premium in each room, the placement of all furniture and case goods to offer maximum space was a significant design challenge. The outcome was a classic, modern finish with innovative storage and space solutions.
