Best Western Plus Dover Marina Hotel
The Project
This beautiful four star seafront hotel is a blend of authentic Victorian architecture and character with modern facilities, restaurants and spa. The hotel requested two different packages and design for standard and superior rooms, including some bespoke sized pieces to fit the dimensions of the historic building. The project included furnishing eighty one rooms with beds, headboards, desks, wardrobes, bedside units and new carpets.
The Design
The picturesque coastal location of the hotel was used to inspire a classic maritime style. Light grey or oak veneer furniture, paired with deep blue headboards and upholstery reflected the seaside position. A brass powder coated finish on desks and bedside table legs contributed to the polished nautical look. We Otel Furnish supplied and fitted new carpets, and mural wallpaper that showcased the local landscape. Rooms with irregular dimensions were fitted with bespoke furniture, and fridges incorporated into wardrobe or desk design to maximise the space in each room. Following the successful completion of the refurbishment, the hotel was upgraded to the Best Western Premier brand, increasing visibility, status and revenues.
